As Missie delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal. Clues lead her to secret passages and hidden chambers within the college. A fake autopsy report points towards a cover-up orchestrated by someone in the administration. This mystery takes Missie on an adventure filled with puzzles and criminal intrigue as she tries to unlock the truth.
In a dramatic showdown at the carnival, Missie confronts the killer, leading to a harrowing chase through underground tunnels. The truth finally unfolds, revealing shocking secrets and implicating the warden in the crime. With the killer apprehended and justice served, Missie closes the case, but not without scars from the dark secrets she uncovered during her investigation.

Murder Melodies
A famous musician, devastated by a contract dispute with his publisher, dies under suspicious circumstances. The official story is an overdose, but his best friend, who knows he never used drugs, starts an investigation. The friend discovers a bottle of gold sodium thiomalate, a rare arthritis medication, near the body of their dead dog. The symptoms match the musician's autopsy report, confirming he was poisoned.

Suspecting foul play, the friend notices the musician's brother, a lesser-known singer with arthritis, always wearing gloves. The friend deduces that the brother, tired of living in his sibling's shadow, poisoned him. This mystery unravels as the best friend delves into the criminal mind of the killer, facing various puzzles and obstacles.

To expose the truth, the friend sneaks into a concert and laces the brother's gloves with stannous chloride.
